Last year I was blessed to be named IPPAWARDS – iPhone Photography Awards Photographer of the Year, unfortunately this year I wasn’t so luckily. However I do feel fortunate, that out of the thousands of photo entries representing countries far and wide including Australia, Canada, China, Croatia, Ecuador, Egypt, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Israel, Kuwait, Malaysia, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, the United Kingdom and the United States.
I was awarded two honorable mentions in the Animal and Panoramic categories. The best part is I normally shoot photos alone however this year I opted to submit photos that I shot while out with friend’s and family. The Jellyfish shot was taken while diving off the coast of Lido Beach in Sarasota Florida and the Panoramic shot was taken while hiking through Puerto Rico’s incredible El Yunque National Rainforest.
